sexy soulful success

I get it. Moving from fear to faith isn’t always easy.
Especially when we turn on the news, or scroll our Facebook feed, and see news filled with headlines that are symptoms of a world in pain.
A world in desperate need of love + light.
We know it, and we can feel it, but what can we really DO about it?
There’s a pervasive belief in our society that we’re powerless in so many ways. Conversations with friends, or strangers you meet in a public place mostly yield the outcome that there’s nothing we can do.
But I don’t believe them. The reality I choose to live in says that there’s always action we can take to be the presence of the alternative — the presence of the light — in the times of shadow.
In some ways, they are right — as individuals, we may not be able to change gun laws, or cure diseases, or eradicate prejudice entirely.
But what we CAN do is choose to rise up in our own lives, in our own communities, to help share more love + light.
Through stepping up into our own leadership and standing for the light in the causes that light a fire in our bellies.
Our world desperately needs healing from the inside, out.
And the good news is that in today’s world, you don’t have to be a politician or celebrity or multi-millionaire to influence others and create an impact.
YOU can contribute to the world’s betterment, healing, and upward evolution in so many ways. As a woman, you are a natural born healer. And you have within you the instincts, coupled with the innate knowledge and holistic perspective that makes your contribution absolutely vital to truly changing our world.
Whether that means helping one person a day when they read your blog, book, or social media post… or donating resources to an organization that’s aligned with your mission and is doing great work… or showing up to advocate for your beliefs and lobby your local politicians… or having a discussion with people about the issues we are faced with and coming up with possible solutions… or leaving your soul-sucking job and creating a business that truly lights you up.
There are so many pathways to healing. So many avenues to change.
Don’t underestimate or undervalue the power of the LIGHTWORK you CAN do in this world… even when it feels like the issues are much bigger than you can handle.
This is why I believe in sisterhood so deeply — because it’s a reminder that we can heal ourselves, each other, and the world, and that we don’t have to try to do it all alone. There are people who are experts in everything, and it’s not necessary for us to know it all.
Instead, we can devote ourselves to our own healing first and foremost, and give to others from a place of overflow — whether that means energy, money, time, or any other type of resource. We can pursue the things that make us feel most alive, and be the embodiment of contagious joy everywhere we go, with everyone we interact with.
THIS is how we can truly change the world from the inside, out.
I was feeling discouraged last week after hearing about yet another mass shooting in Orlando, FL. It felt like even though I am assured that the work I’m doing in the world through my own inner work, along with my coaching practice + sisterhood programs IS truly making a change, it didn’t feel like “enough.”
It seemed like there was something else I could do … a new level of service I could reach into … in order to make a bigger impact and feel like my contribution was more direct.
For the past few months, I have been asking the universe for support in finding and identifying causes that felt aligned with my mission so that I could give a portion of my profits from my coaching services and sisterhood programs to organizations who were truly making a difference in lives of sisters world-wide.
So the day I was upset about the shootings in Orlando, I decided to do some more research, with hopes I would finally find a cause that felt aligned with my holistic perspective of sustainable change + my mission of sisterhood, women’s entrepreneurship, and leadership.
I am delighted to be able to announce my new partnership with Women for Women International, an organization that is changing the world, one woman at a time, by providing women survivors of war, civil strife, and other conflicts with the tools and resources to move from crisis + poverty to stability + self-sufficiency.
The beauty of this organization is that they recognize the true power and impact women can have when provided the proper resources they need to thrive, and that strong women build strong nations.
Moving forward, every woman who works with me for a 9-month term of private coaching will be automatically sponsoring a sister through Women for Women International. A single sponsorship provides a woman a full-year of education around job skills, business training, knowledge of her rights, knowledge of nutrition + health, and support networks/safety nets, that allows her to support her family and create stronger communities.
It’s important to me that you know that when you work with me, you’re not only healing yourself and creating a greater impact in the world by becoming your most alive, vibrant, and magnetic you, being the embodiment of the change you wish to see in our world, and creating a career, business, or other endeavor that allows you to step into soulful feminine leadership and do more good for people who work with (and for) you …
But that you’re also directly contributing to the opportunities of sisters globally and healing the world we live in.
It’s important to me that your consciousness plant seeds of change for others who have less freedom, resources, + opportunities to create change than we do as 21st century women in the western world.
I have also added additional organizations to my rotation of support, and will also be gifting a portion of the profits from the Embodied Goddess Sisterhood program to The Heifer Project. If you’re interested, you can find all the details and additional ways I’m contributing and up-leveling my leadership.
